Ligandrol is a novel non-steroidal oral selective androgen receptor modulator currently under investigation as a potential treatment for muscular dystrophy and osteoporosis-related diseases. Furthermore, LGD treatment resulted in an increase in the number of capillaries in all studied muscles. Longer randomized trials and studies may assess its efficacy in improving physical function and health outcomes in specific populations.
